Hats names are based on famous horses names. Bucephalus or Bucephalas was the horse of Alexander the Great, and one of the most famous horses of antiquity. Bucephalus served Alexander in numerous battles.

Alexander the Great, when he was twelve years old, received from his father a horse which he named Bucephalus, which meant "bull's head".

This animal was supposedly indomitable, it was so fiery that nobody had ever managed to ride it. Alexander, who had already taken part in battles and was an accomplished horseman, took up the challenge. He would tame the indomitable. He began by studying the behavior of the great black horse, looking for his fault. He realized that the animal was afraid of its shadow as of the men approaching him.

For nearly twenty years Alexander and Bucephalus fought together.
